Gui Gui came to us with the challenge of pulling their fanbase deeper into the brand, unlocking new corners of their world, fresh storylines and a universe big enough to carry into the real-life activations on the horizon.
[Solution]
Kids learn beauty from the internet long before they walk into a store, so we borrowed the visual language of premium beauty brands and Pinterest culture instead of the toy aisle. We dreamed up a cotton candy universe where a selfie twirls three girls into a beauty wonderland lined with Gui Gui products and personal makeup chairs, celebrating every kind of girl. We shot across two epic sets in Bogotá, partnered with their team in Melbourne, and delivered 30 market variations of the TVCs now airing around the world.
